Minty is a barbershop first. For the curious, here is what we are building around the chair—and why.

Minty Barber is a modern barbershop and personal care brand built by family, shaped by its team, and kept alive by its community.

Two brothers built Minty together and opened the first shop in Frisco, Texas, in 2022. McKinney became the second home. Across both shops, the idea is the same: listen before cutting, take the craft seriously, and treat people well on both sides of the chair.

“Meant for You” is not decoration. It is the standard.

The first seed

Built by family. Grown by everyone.

Two brothers started Minty together with a belief that the community deserved better: better barbering, more thoughtful service, and a place where people felt welcomed rather than processed.

They planted the first seed and built the house side by side, but Minty was never shaped by two people alone. Barbers set the standard. Front desk professionals shaped the welcome. Clients came back, brought friends, shared feedback, and helped a shop become a house.

The community did not simply discover Minty. It helped make Minty.

A cut and a career can both mean something

Clients deserve to be understood before the first cut. Barbers deserve respect for the skill behind it. Other professionals deserve room to bring ideas, solve problems, and grow with the company.

Minty wants to be somewhere people choose to return to—and somewhere good people choose to build a future.

What we do

Old craft. Clear standards.

Every service begins with a consultation. Not every cut works on every head.

Minty offers consultation-led haircuts and fades, back-and-sides services, buzz cuts, beard trims, traditional straight razor and hot towel shaves, styling, and skin rejuvenation in Frisco and McKinney. The shelf extends that care with Minty haircare and grooming products designed for life between visits.

Convenience matters too: late weekday hours, online booking, two DFW-area shops, and people available to answer questions when a guest needs help.

How we grow

More roots. Same house.

Minty is not currently a franchise. Growth is a conversation, not a checkout button.

The goal is to carry the standard into new opportunities without losing the consultation, the culture, or the connection to each neighborhood. That can include carefully considered shops, products people actually use, meaningful professional paths, technology that removes friction, and creative work that makes the experience clearer.

Technology should support the human part—not replace it. A faster system is useful. A better conversation is still the point.
